Product Features
In insulated cable joints, it has excellent bonding and sealing performance, air tightness, weather resistance, aging resistance and electrical stress control performance.
Scope of application
Heat-shrinkable or cold-shrinkable materials are used for the termination and intermediate joints of high-voltage cables of 10kV and above. It is wound at the junction of the middle fittings and the cut-off part of the outer semiconducting layer of the cable. A certain characteristic impedance is formed at the end of the cable shielding to provide electrical stress. Control and insulate the role of filling the gap.
Instructions for use
Stretch the tape to 1/2 of its original width, and wrap after 1/2 overlap. The width of the overlapped outer semiconducting layer should not exceed 5mm.
